Dear OVV Friends and Family,
I hope you’re enjoying the final days of summer break! After a brief but restful vacation, Ohio Valley Voices is gearing up for a new year of learning, growth, and fun. Children in our Toddler Program have returned, our Learning Center will begin next Tuesday, August 16th, and our Preschool Programs will have a staggered start August 16th-19th. We can’t wait to see our returning students and staff as well as greet a handful of new ones too!
The 2022-2023 academic year promises big changes for the OVV community. Last Tuesday, we hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for our campus expansion and renovation project. The event was part of our Silence to Speech campaign—a fundraising effort to increase Ohio Valley Voices’ capacity so that every child with hearing loss in the Cincinnati area can benefit from our services.
The groundbreaking couldn’t have come at a better time, as all of our programs are full and there is a waitlist for our Toddler Program. What’s clear is that families throughout the Cincinnati region are in need of early intervention services. With your help, we can rise to the challenge and meet this need.
We at Ohio Valley Voices look forward to once again hearing the voices of our children echoing through our hallways. This year will be a little chaotic due to the ongoing building renovation, but exciting nonetheless. Please feel welcome to come take a tour to see the changes happening here at OVV.
